After spending the last two years stuck behind bars for a crime she didn't commit, Harlow "Princess" Gavelson's time inside has finally come to an end, and she's ready for revenge. Unfortunately, being the daughter of the vice president of the Ravage Motorcycle Club cuts into her plans, as orders must be followed.
After spending years in hell overseas, Donavon "Cruz" came home to lose the very thing he went into hell for, sending him to the darkest moments of his life. Joining Ravage two years ago was his safe haven, and he protects his family at all costs.
When a dark-haired bombshell struts into the club's shop, Cruz immediately knows that she's the one he'd do anything for. She's tough as nails and takes no crap from anyone, and he's captivated by a woman who could handle this life. Trying to meet the needs of the MC business and follow his heart, however, proves to be difficult when the two collide. Can Cruz and Harlow find a way to be together, or will the needs of Ravage cost them everything, including their lives?

It was actually Amazon’s recommendation that led me to Ryan Michele. I was skeptical because surprisingly I had never seen her mentioned previously. Since this book is free right now, I decided there was nothing to lose. I started reading and hit these sentences on page four, “I missed my life, and I’ve always known my place in it. Being the Vice President’s daughter hasn’t given me any idealizations than I am anything more than exactly that.” I almost stopped right there. I could deal with the capitalization error but the simple sentences that reeked of a thesaurus used incorrectly was not something I thought I could tolerate for an entire book. I am so, so glad I decided to at least finish the chapter. These sentences really should be removed because the do not do Michele’s writing justice. I kept going after the first chapter and by the end of chapter 2 I was truly hooked. The writing style turned out to be fine and the story was fast-paced and exciting.Princess is the perfect heroine. I love tough heroines and not ones that just talk tough or that go from meek to brave in an unbelievable transformation. Princess was born a bada$$ and I loved it. Cruz made the perfect hero too; a bada$$ heroine needs a strong, bada$$ hero. The plot was also perfect for me. I like violence and action but I need it to be at least somewhat plausible and Michele hit that balance to perfection. I have now finished the second book in the series. I usually write a review right after I finish a book but I was so invested in this world that I had to move on immediately to the next book without a break!
If you like violence and grittiness with your romance, then this is the book for you. Definitely not hearts and flowers but no cheating or ugliness between the hero and heroine. Perfection!

Ravage Me Ravage MC Book 1 (Audible Audio Edition) Ryan Michele Joe Arden Tatiana Sokolov Tantor Audio Books Reviews
Harlow is free at last. But coming home there are a lot of new brothers in the club and one she can't seem to get out of her head. He's relentless, demanding, infuriating. He's sexy as sin and she wants to jump him and run all at once. But when her safety is threatened and the prospect of going back in the slammer is becoming more difficult to avoid, Cruz is there to help her stay safe and get to the bottom of it.
Cruz heard of Harlow aka Princess, but seeing her here with don't give a crap attitude, getting off on her bike in front of everyone, and the bad ass way she handles herself in all that she does, he can't help but want to test her out in the bedroom and see if she's as volatile as she is outside. He wants her but she adamant about not hooking up with a brother. Too bad he doesn't care and plans to make her his.
Harlow is one badass mofo. I freaking love her kick butt attitude. She knows where she stands in the club. She knows when to stand down, who to respect and who to kicks butt. I love her fierce protectiveness and he fact she doesn't let anyone scare her. She's the perfect woman. And Cruz is one hot biker and the fact he sees her fierceness as something to be admired and hot as hell, I respect that. The sex was hot, the love for each other romantic with some badassery thrown in. And the issues of so many plot twists had me turning the page and never putting this book down. Can't wait to read about the rest of the bikers.
Different type of book for me. I'd actually passed this one several times before giving it a try. Loved Cruz. My only problem with him is that he didn't take care of Melanie right away. His waiting & giving her the benefit of doubt came back to bite him in the ass. There was one other thing, tiny really that bothered me, but it was quickly overlooked. Princess was not at all like any of the female leads I prefer to read about. But I must say I really liked her. She was kick ass & vulnerable. The relationship between her & Cruz was fantastic. Loved this book. Definitely will reread! The Valentine's Day short was super awesome, check it out!

What I Loved
I’m a big fan of MC series so I was really excited to start this book and dive into the world of the Ravage Motorcycle Club. I really enjoyed the fact that Princess was just as rough around the edges as a male character would be. It was a new take on a love story to have a woman be the one who served time, boxes, names their gun, and loves their motorcycle. It was really refreshing in that aspect because I’m over the innocent doe eyed girl getting sucked into a dark world they know nothing about. It’s nice to see a female character on equal footing for once.
I also really liked Cruz, he oozed masculinity from the beginning that made him a very attractive man. The chemistry between him and Princess was extremely hot from the start and I couldn’t wait for them to tear each other’s clothes off. The suspense and mystery in the story was pretty good as well it kept me reading because you never knew what would happen next.
Not So Much
I really wanted to love this story, but the entire thing just fell flat on many different levels. There was nothing about this story that felt organic and natural to me. For example, the conversations were robotic and one dimensional. People in a motorcycle clubs don’t go around thinking and saying they’re tough because in their in a motorcycle clubs. Those aspects of that kind of life are shown through their actions not their words. There was constant repetition of how tough and cool Princess is because she grew in the life, and after a while I just wanted to scream, “I get it! She’s a badass now move on!”
Also, the love story was just not realistic to me. I get that this is fiction and of course none of this is real but every story should be grounded and relatable. There is just no way a man decides that he’s met his old lady and the mother to his son in less than 24 hours of laying eyes on her. It made the story seem silly and completely ridiculous, keeping me from getting engrossed in the plot. The flow was just too rushed and shallow not building a strong foundation for the plot to grow from.
